On December 22, the JOC National Coach Academy Intensive Lecture was held at the Kodokan.
This is a project of the JOC aimed at training elite coaches and staff to develop and guide athletes who can compete in international competitions such as the Olympics.
This time, 22 coaches and staff members visited Kodokan to observe “Judo”.
After the opening address by Mr. UEMURA Haruki, President of the Kodokan, Mr. TSUMURA Kozo, Kodokan Expert, gave a lecture on “The Life and Teachings of KANO Jigoro Shihan,” followed by a tour of the museum and a practice session at the dojo.
